East Carroll Students of the Year Advance to Regionals
Congratulations to Zalayah Green of Griffin-Southside Lower and Upper Elementary School and Ja’Niyah Powell of General Trass High School for being named Regional Honorees and advancing from the zone level to the regional round of the Louisiana Department of Education’s annual Students of the Year awards program. This is a significant achievement, and we are incredibly proud of these outstanding students as they continue representing East Carroll Parish at the next level.

​Superintendent Brumley met with the East Carroll Parish School District's Instructional Leadership Team, Board Members, and Superintendent to discuss key topics. The conversation focused on celebrating the district's significant academic growth over the past three years, addressing ongoing challenges, and strategizing future investments to ensure continued improvement in student outcomes.
