As Superintendent of East Carroll Parish Schools, I am honored to lead a district that is redefining what is possible for our scholars. While I hold high expectations for our system, they are rooted in the unwavering belief that every student who enters our buildings possesses the potential for greatness.

We have entered a transformative era for our district. By consolidating into two comprehensive sites: General Trass High School and the

newly established Griffin-Southside Lower & Upper Elementary School (GLUE). We have created a more unified and efficient educational landscape. This shift is not just about logistics; it is about maximizing every available resource to foster an innovative instructional environment.

Our forward-thinking approach is highlighted by the STAR Academy "school-within-a-school" model. Now active on both campuses for our 7th and 8th graders, this program provides a specialized, high-engagement pathway. This initiative is a cornerstone of our mission to ensure every student receives a high-quality, tailored educational experience.

The impact of these efforts is reflected in our achievements. The results of our collective hard work are evident. East Carroll Parish Schools has enjoyed top-tier growth, ranking number one in the state for three of the last four years in either overall growth or growth in mastery. Furthermore, we are proud to be recognized as one of the top 30 school districts in Louisiana for our impressive growth trajectory.

My mission is to ensure that "high-quality" is the standard for every educational experience we provide. We are committed to using research-based strategies to prepare our scholars for lifelong success in a global, 21st-century economy.

I value the partnership of our teachers, the trust of our parents, and the energy of our students. By working as one community, we will continue to provide a safe, supportive, and top-tier education for every scholar in East Carroll Parish.
