The Louisiana Department of Education has launched a new program.The Steve Carter Tutoring Program will provide the opportunity for eligible students in grades K-12 to receive math and literacy tutoring. Eligible students are those who are below proficiency in reading and math. Families of participating students will be able to receive a digital tutoring voucher for up to $1,500.00 per student each school year. The voucher will be used for the purchase of high-quality math and literacy tutoring. In-person and online sessions may be available.
